Lexi's 15 month checkup was today:
Height - 31 3/4inches - 90%
Weight - 21lbs 4 oz - 25% (down 8 oz since June)
We have to have a feeding evaluation. Lexi still can't eat most table foods. She squirrels the food in her cheeks...and will NOT eat meat. And the pedi thinks her speech "delay" may be related. So I'll be calling Easter Seals to make an appointment...
Does anyone know what they do during the eval?
Update: I spoke to the OT...Lexi is tentatively scheduled for her eval on August 5th at 1:30pm.

Oh poor Lexi with the food issues! Hope they get it figured out.
Good stats though. We have our 15 month next Monday.
I'm glad you're doing a feeding eval as I know it must be a relief to DO something about it. We're still trying to get the twins in to see GI and the feeding clinic at our Children's Hospital. Ridiculous how long it is taking. I hope the OT is able to help find some answers and solutions for Lexi.
I'm sorry. I have been through some things with Freddie so I understand. Freddie doesn't eat meat either and tends to "store" his food as well. I think he was an early teether and is behind on developing acceptance for textures. I haven't been following for long, so I don't know the complete picture, but maybe she's just needing some time to adjust after transitioning from getting so many calories from all the milk she was drinking?
I am SPED teacher and have lots of students who have done feeding evaluations and swallow studies. The feeding evaluation is a lot of questions about diet, habits, and some observations...the swallow study involves xrays and video, but it doesn't sound like that is what Lexi will be doing.
I'm sorry you're faced with this. I know it isn't easy when your baby isn't in the "textbook" normal range for all things.
