Tired...

This post is going to sound whiny...you are forewarned.

I'm SO tired of people making comments about "how good" I look and "oh you're showing!". No shit sherlock...I'm 26weeks pregnant, I think I'm going to show. At first all the comments didn't bother me, they were flattering even. Now, it seems that this pregnancy is the only thing that people want to talk to me about...HELLO, I HAVE OTHER INTERESTS AS WELL! I understand that I'm the only pregnant person in my office at the moment, but that doesn't give people the right to give me cheezy smiles and looks every time they see me! UUGGGHH!

Today alone, I've had 6 people tell me either how good I look for being xweeks pregnant, that I'm showing, or call me "momma". I'm so sick of it! And people wonder why I choose to work from home most days now! It's to get away from all the freaks here!

OK rant over...

DITTO. I heard "mamma" comments all weekend and "oh you're finally showing." Finally? I'm 29 weeks pregnant for crying out loud! I've been showing for months.

And the one that is totally on my nerves these days..."How are you feeling?" UGH

Oh, I hear ya. If I had to listen to one more person tell me how HUGE I was, I might have snapped! Like I don't have a mirror?

From a non-pregnant reader...I am sick of them too. I work with two pregnant girls right now and those comments are all I am hearing. It must get old.

Hahaha... it never ends, you'll be getting nothing but pregnancy questions and comments up until the very end I bet. People just stare at me wherever I go now, it's like all the see is belly... no one even looks directly in my face at all. What's amazing is we spend every waking moment pregnant (in addition to the MONTHS or possibly YEARS we spent attempting to get pregnant and thinking about nothing but the pregnancy we couldn't achieve) for nine solid months and there are days when I really want to just be ME again. Even if just for 5 minutes.

You have all the room in the world to "whine" about this, all though I do not consider it whining. Just one of those annoying aspects that comes along with being pregnant. ;)

*hugs*

I have to say that it sounds like hormones talking. If you've tried that long to get pregnant, I would think you would be happy to get those comments, especially the ones noticing how good you look. Granted, you may want to discuss other things besides this pregnancy, if you think about it - this may be the only one you ever get. I'd enjoy it all you can.

I can't help but smile...but its not a cheesy one. We announced our pregnancy EARLY to our family...and in the short time I was pregnant that was ALL I heard every night when the phone rang "how are you feeling" I finally told my mother--I am pregnant, I am not ill"

I hear ya sister! Next time if we get pregnatn I am not telling ANYONE till the kids head is visible just so I can avoid that line!
