Letting it all out

Content has been removed.

I'm starting a new blog. I will maintain this site for updates on Lexi and all things parenting. My new blog will be invite only and will be where I journal about this new turn my life has taken. Please leave a comment if you'd like to follow along with your email address...but, lurkers, please don't be offended if I send a message back asking who you are.

Good for you in putting yourself first and taking care of you...

I'm so glad you are taking that first step to taking care of yourself. Sometimes it's the hardest step. If you do have PPD or any other type of depression, you need to do this for you and for your family. I would love to follow along on the new blog. Things will get better.

I would love to follow you, especially since I have dealt with PPD myself (twice) and my husband is a depressive. (At one point early last year, my son was on anti-anxiety meds for his ADHD related issues, my husband was/still is on pr_zac and wellb_tin and I was on z-loft--yep we were a pharmacy onto ourselves!)

Besides, us Braces Bunchers have to stick together!

Hey, I'm a lurker and would like to follow your new journey. I finally hollered "Uncle" in January and told my doctor about how I was crying every day and was just generally miserable. I've been taking meds ever since, and my life is so much better. PPD is definitely real, and it sounds like you've got at least a touch of it...but also the normal (not fun) marriage adjustments of having a child. My babies are 10 and 12 now, so that part of my life is just a memory, but it's not an easy transition, no matter how wanted and planned and wished-for those babies are.

Good luck, and I hope you get an appointment sooner than later!

I just found your blog today, I also read Delenn and Dreamer4a gift. :o) I am in the Chicagoland area also! (Minooka) While I didn't have to go through IVF I did have to take Clomid for my last 2 pregancies. I would love to continue to read if you go private.
